1. Open a market
Use one of the market entry points:- Discover for category scanning
- Search for a known market or event
- Watchlist for saved markets
- Calendar for time-based markets
- Signal Alerts for markets with recent wallet or flow activity
2. Check the market page
Before using the ticket, review the visible market state.| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Status | Prevents orders on closed or resolved markets. |
| Price and spread | Shows whether the current execution is still acceptable. |
| Volume and liquidity | Helps avoid thin markets where fills can move against the trader. |
| Activity | Shows recent buys, sells, size, and age. |
| Related markets | Helps with multi-outcome or repeated event structures. |
3. Confirm wallet context
The active wallet determines balances, positions, and order submission. If the selected wallet is wrong, switch it from the wallet control or profile page before trading.4. Place the order
Use the order ticket when the action is enabled. Disabled buttons should explain the missing requirement, such as balance, minimum order size, market status, or route availability.5. Track after submission
The terminal updates cash, positions, open orders, and activity after confirmed trade or funding events. Manual refresh should not be needed for normal balance changes.Next pages
